The more we engage in a particular pattern of thought, experience, feeling or behavior, the stronger this neural network becomes - making old patterns difficult to change. But through mindfulness techniques, we can have the ability to become aware of these patterns and begin to consciously change our ways of thinking and being, and create new neural pathways.
